
The Executive Body of the Natural Strong Powerlifting Federation convened a key meeting today at Tankipora, near the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Srinagar, to discuss preparations for the upcoming State Level Benchpress and Deadlift Powerlifting Championship scheduled to be held on 21st and 22nd July 2025 at Indoor Stadium, Srinagar.
The meeting focused on organizational planning, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth conduct of the championship. Office bearers and senior members of the Federation laid out a comprehensive blueprint for the event, which aims to promote strength sports and identify emerging talent from across Jammu and Kashmir.
The Natural Strong Powerlifting Federation officially extended an open invitation to all aspiring and professional powerlifters from across the Union Territory to participate in the championship. The event is expected to witness strong competition in multiple weight categories under strict adherence to national-level guidelines and drug-free standards.
Organizers emphasized that the championship is not just a sporting event but also a platform to promote fitness, discipline, and camaraderie among youth. Winners will be awarded medals, certificates, and an opportunity to represent J&K at upcoming national-level competitions.
Speaking at the meeting, Federation representatives said:
