Bandipora, June 19: The District Administration Bandipora organised another edition of “Nun Chai Talks” at Waqar Knowledge Centre, featuring entrepreneur Firdous Indiana (Syed Firdous Hussain), Co-Founder and CEO of Indiana Floors & More, Bengaluru.

The session saw active participation from gymnasts and young sportspersons across the district, focusing on entrepreneurship, skill development, career planning, and emerging business opportunities.
Firdous Indiana shared his journey from Bandipora to building a successful business enterprise, highlighting challenges and key milestones. He urged youth to adopt discipline, dedication, and strong work ethics, stressing that success in sports, education, and business requires consistency and focus.
He encouraged participants to embrace positive thinking, avoid negativity, and continuously upgrade their skills to adapt to evolving employment opportunities. He also highlighted the importance of innovation, self-employment, and lifelong learning in today’s changing economic landscape.
Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Indu Kanwal Chib, speaking on the occasion, emphasized the importance of skill development and encouraged youth to identify their strengths and benefit from government initiatives aimed at entrepreneurship and empowerment. She also lauded local gymnasts for their dedication and performance.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Zaffar Husson Shawl highlighted emerging career avenues and government schemes supporting youth entrepreneurship, while BDO Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Hadi stressed the role of innovation and skill-building in achieving sustainable livelihoods.
An interactive session allowed participants to engage directly with the speaker, who addressed queries on entrepreneurship and career development, offering practical guidance from his professional experience.
Participants described the programme as highly motivating and informative, noting that it broadened their understanding of opportunities beyond conventional career paths.
Officials said the Nun Chai Talks initiative will continue to serve as a platform for inspiring personalities to engage with youth and promote learning, innovation, and aspiration across Bandipora.
