OAS pips new IMA officers at Dehradun

Dehradun, Dec 13: General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), attended the Pipping Ceremony following the Passing Out Parade at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), marking a historic moment for the newly commissioned officers. The ceremony saw the COAS personally pipping Officer Cadets, including foreign cadets from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and an officer cadet from Assam Rifles, symbolizing the culmination of years of rigorous training.

The event was attended by proud parents, faculty, and senior military officials. As the COAS affixed the much-awaited stars on the shoulders of the cadets, he congratulated them and their families, acknowledging the dedication, perseverance, and discipline required to reach this milestone.
