“And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord have mercy upon them as they brought me up (when I was) small.” (Holy Quran/Isra:23)

Parents function as the most original blessing in each hour of our life. Directly or indirectly, all grace and each profoundness flows from the divine arrangement called parents. The very conceiving process of a child to that of his birth; from the child’s basic existence down to the roots of his survival on this earthly life depend upon our parents and their approach towards life in general. We all originate from the source called father and mother. God’s greatest creation of man has been subjected to the will and conditioned with the agreements reached between the two souls that are our parents who get wedded in order to procreate us. We are here only because and only of them. The above mentioned verse of the holy Quran clearly lets us know the level and value of our parents. Both the father and the mother function as the engine of our lives which we can never pay back in any way no matter what. They are our guardian angels in human shapes sent down by God Himself to make our living possible and running. Nothing can ever replace the importance of our parents in our lives.
Parents shine like the brightest sun even in the darkest corners in the history and geography of our life. They are always supportive, most helpful and ever ready guide. Keeping available all of their efforts, support, time and even their life savings, our parents are always there to carve out a bright and delightful future life for their children. Our parents wear rubber but give us leather. They abandon their health but are always ready to add blood into our health and wealth without complaining or demanding anything in return. They don’t discriminate their children on the basis of their colour, sex, fairness and in other things. For them their children are their original part of their own existence hence can nave see any of their inwards as unequal in any manner. Such intense is the bond between parents and their children that just a slightest streak of smile on the face of their children provide a total amount of happiness to the parents. They sacrifice all their life along with their possessions to fulfill the desires and comforts of their children.
I am dedicating my article to all parents who one or other way give their efforts to bring beauty and brightness in their children’s life. It is not just the birth of their children our parents are responsible for but the whole spectrum of their life is in the hand of the parents to steer the boat of life through all rough and smooth waters. I myself have experienced those tough moments which, time to time, have brought tears in my eyes. Both mummy and papa have continuously been devoting the best part of their lives to create all possibilities for both of us sisters. Sometimes recalling those heart-wrenching moments when they literally didn’t had options and means in front of our wants, needs but they somehow managed to fulfill our demands just because they love us and care for our happiness. Their only purpose of life, as I have myself witnessed, is the total comfort and well settlement of us, their children. Every activity they perform is first meant for our wellbeing then about the rest of things. They even forget their own wellbeing while caring and sharing with us. Even the basic necessities of their life are forgotten when it comes to arrange our needs. Who else than our father and mother can do such sacrifice without eying any interest first? Literally no one ever.
Life without the presence of our parents is a permanent disaster. We can’t imagine the disturbance, anguish, mismanagement etc. in the children who have lost their parents, the people who actually shoulder the hurdles and loads that come into the ways and ambitions of children’s lives. The love and support on their part is invaluable which can never be measured or quantified. God is indeed merciful upon the people who have both father and mother present at larger part of their life.
Parents, as the natural teachers, do play the foundational role to build a positive attitude in children’s life which foster a motivational attitude in them to behave and do good in the rest of their journey here in this world. Not only the finest qualities borne out of the myriad traditional modes are directly transferred into newborns but the predominant security of every domain in their lives comes in the laps and presence of parents only. The environment and the sense of natural protection provided by the parents help the children to achieve the targets much smoother, successful and satisfied ways. Both mother and the father are the alpha and the omega of every family carving out the personality of the child in the most perfect ways. Their lap is the divine bed to get most of the primordial nature we hardly find in this perverted age. Children themselves act as sponges to absorb all the behaviors, habits and activities of their parents who happen to be the first real life first role models in their lives.
Every parent has a different kind of attitude towards their children. Some are strict and some are equally soft. Sometime being strict in genuine cases is best to prevent a child from distracting to and falling into wrongdoings. Every mode of attitude on the part of parents plays a vital role in improving child’s view point from early stage of life. Parents try their best to see the perfection in their children and do all tasks to improve the humane qualities like in-build morals, good habits, good education, well behavior, motivation, ambitious attitudes.
