Pahalgam, Jan 6: In a heartening display of honesty, a cab driver in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, won praise after returning a bag containing cash, an iPhone, and other valuables to a visiting tourist.

The tourist had accidentally left the bag in the cab after completing the journey in Pahalgam. On discovering the unattended bag, the driver chose integrity over gain and made sincere efforts to trace the owner. After verifying the tourist’s identity, he returned the bag with all its contents intact.
The grateful tourist lauded the driver’s honesty, describing the gesture as a reflection of the deep-rooted values of trust and integrity that define the people of Kashmir.
