Parents: The Greatest Blessing of God

December 23, 2020 | Bilal Bhat

Allah (SWT) has blessed us with a lot of things even if we start counting the blessing of Allah (SWT) it will take years and we will still not be able to count them all. Today we are going to discuss about one of the best blessed gifts which we have received but we didn’t observe that. As an individual We all are tied in lot of relationships like brothers, sisters, uncle’s, and kins but one of the most important relationship we have in our life is the relationship with our parents. it’s not only relationship it’s a best blessed gift from Allah (SWT) that we all have received but we didn’t observe. Have you sometimes thought about it how They serve their whole life in great raised of their kids; they comprehend their language, needs when an children couldn't talk. They sacrifice their own requirements, wishes, dreams and wants for giving secure and bright future to their kids, however in future what children’s give them in the return, disrespect, disobedience, discourteousness and conduct appearing as they have no importance. We are fortunate to have been bestowed such a great blessing from Allah. Yet, shockingly, there are many who don't realize and think about their parents as a blessing and rather consistently they have negative comments about their parents.

Before writing this article I've studies a lot of cases about how these days youth are slighting their parents how they send them into old age homes. They believed that they know every good and bad thing, and their parents knew nothing about this modern world. When parents used to address them when they are going to take wrong decisions they got enticed. in each cause toward the end Individual understands that he/she wasn't right and has done disgusting things to them. Which they didn’t deserve. Yet around then the favoured gift which we have received were gone back in the way of Allah (SWT).
Those people are so much lucky in this world, which have their parents alive and they can accomplish such a great things for them to make their parents happy and healthy. ALLAH has guaranteed paradise to the individuals who will be polite and work well for their parents and satisfy their necessities. When they become old. As we probably are all aware, our religion consistently underscores on the admiration of mother and ALLAH (SWT) has given a high status to mothers as He has described: "Paradise lies under the feet of Mother" This shows that even our religion teaches us the significance of mindful and loving our parents. But many of us need to ask ourselves do we really follow these teaching? Absolutely the answer is “NO” It is so easy for us to pass rude remarks and show irritation when our parents scold us and monitor our social networking websites. Quite often, we neglect our parents and spend time on trivial tasks. We argue, fight and sometimes adopt a very hard tone when speaking to them. We need to change our behaviour otherwise it’ll be too late
In Islam, parents can be disobeyed. Only if they influence their children against Allah that is know as "shirk" (which is the biggest sin among all)
Allah (SWT) says in Quran:
Your lord has commanded that you should worship none but him, and that you be kind to your parents. If either one or both of them reach old age with you, say no word that shows impatience with them, and do not be harsh with them, but speak to them respectfully. So we should take care of our precious gifts that we have received from Allah (SWT) if your parents have passed away, make a lot dua for them if they are alive and with you love them and take good care of them. Try not to hurt them, obey them each time. Never let them down anytime because of you. Make them happy with your achievements throughout everyday life; these things can assist you with taking their blessings, which is the real asset of your life. The key to success is parent's blessings. You won't accomplish anything in the life if you run with the world, without 'parent's blessings'. even if you achieve something it doesn't make you happy make every effort to make them happy and take care of them if you want to became successful person in life. I don’t know how can I thank you my lord Allah (SWT) for giving me such a great blessings and I’m very thankful that you opened my eyes and made me realize how precious my parents are there's no word to describe what they intend to me. There’s nothing that I can compensate for what they have done to me. in the end, I just state gigantic thank you and sorry, I have one promise for you,” I will make you proud someday.
