
Natrang is presenting its new play by children ‘Hum Hain Pratibhavan’ on Sunday 6th July 2025 at 6 pm at Abhinav Theatre Jammu. This has been informed by Director Natrang, Balwant Thakur through a press briefing. He invited a larger audience to witness the play which is an outcome of a month-long workshop and children are going to present their brilliant acting skills.
In Natrang, it is believed that every child has talent and it is further polished with the help of highly innovative theatre practices where children get a fertile ambience to fully blossom with their innate capabilities. Considering the importance of theatre in overall personality enhancement of children, Natrang has been doing regular theatre with children since 1990 and till now it has kindled creativity and instilled confidence in hundreds of children through scores of training workshops and meaningful children plays.
This year’s children's production, ‘Hum Hain Pratibhavan’ testifies Natrang's vision that every child has some talent and the same is being presented before the audience in a thought provoking manner. In addition to their core talent of acting, children are going to sing, dance, recite poetry in this play which makes it interesting for the audience.
Natrang’s children theatre module has been devised and developed by a team of trainers under the guidance of Padmashri Balwant Thakur. It aims not just producing a theatre production but to facilitate overall personality development of children. It trains children to become enlightened personalities rather than mere actors. The play has been conceptualized and directed by Sumeet Sharma, a National Awardee theatre director who has produced scores of highly meaningful and innovative plays with children to bring their hidden talent to the forefront. The team behind the production includes Chander Shekhar, Sunny Mujoo, Pawan Verma, Mohd. Yaseen, Kananpreet Kaur, Kartik Kumar & Vandana Thakur.
