A 3rd play was staged today under the ongoing theatre festival being organised by National School of Drama (NSD) Repertory Company in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages. The play "MAI RI MAIN KA SE KAHUN" written by Vijaydan Detha and directed by Ajay Kumar, depicting the hypocrisy of society towards women cast a spell on the audiences and its musical touch
went deep into their minds. The play was witnessed by prominent theatre actors, playwrights and directors of Kashmir including Mushtaque Ali Ahmad Khan, Shabir Mujahid, Bhawani Bashir Yasir, Mushtaq Bala, Reshi Rashid, Ashraf Dildar, Altaf Hussain, Farhat Sidiqi, Hassan Javaid, Khursheed Ahmad Mir, Sahil Shafi and others.The festival will continue till 10th Nov. 2023.
Tomorrow on Dharamvir Bharati’s ANDHA YOG directed by Prof. Ram Gopal Bajaj is going to be staged and on 10th November 2023 Ajay Shukla’s TAJ MAHAL KA TENDER directed by Director NSD.Chittranjan Tripathy shall be showcased.
