Gayatri Parivar Chittorgarh in coordination with Save Sharda Committee Kashmir regd. headed by Ravinder Pandita, organized a symbolic puja at Sharda Peeth on eve of Navratri yesterday. The puja was was performed by local muslims of Sharda village and was recorded live. On this occasion Panch meva ( 5 fruits) with lighting of incence sticks ( Dhoop agarbatti) inside the peeth.

 Later the note books, pens & fruits were distributed among young girls in the vicinity as a mark of kanya puja. The Gayatri foundation members comprising of Chandreshekhar Changeria, Bharat Soni,Ekta Sharma, Prakash Kumawat, Dilip Lodha, Harshit Jingar, Rajesh Sahu, Sonu Vaishnav, Hitesh Nahar and Rishi Kumawat present online during the puja thanked the civil society members for the puja.

 Save Sharda Committee has been pressing for the reopening of Sharda Corridor on the lines of Nankana Sahib yatra and Kartarpur corridor for last 2 decades. The Committee has a civil society across loC comprising of around 150 members.

 Presently the Committee is constructing Sharda Temple at LoC Teetwal,Karnah after reclaiming the same, from where Charri Mubarak or the annual yatra would proceed in pre partition times. “ We have organized such events in the last 5 years also with the help of locals of Sharda PoK and in last September we installed pics of Mata Sharda & Swami Nand Lal ji inside the peeth’said Committee head Ravinder Pandita.
