Police in Kulgam have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substances from his possession.

A Police party from Police Station Qaimoh at a checkpoint established at Khudwani Bypass arrested a drug peddler identified as Talib Hussain Sheikh son of Khurshid Hussain Sheikh resident of KG Raina, Wanpoh. During search, 30 grams of charas and 500 grams of grinded cannabis-like substances were recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 79/2025 stands registered in Police Station Qaimoh and investigation has been initiated.
