Jammu, July 29: Police have attached the immovable properties of four Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) settled terrorists in Ramban district.

According to police spokesman, police today attached the immovable properties of four Pakistan and PoK-settled terrorists under the provisions of Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in Ramban district.
The properties attached are of Abdul Rashid alias Bashir of Banihal (11 Marlas land, (inherited) having an approximate value of Rs 9.25 lakh, Ghulam Rasool alias Badshah of Kundan Khari (10 Kanals of land having an approximate value of Rs 60 lakh), Abdul Latief Naik alias Sajjad of Koot Khari, Banihal (Three Kanals (inherited), having an approximate value of Rs 20 lakh) and Mushtaq Ahmed of Chareel, Banihal (Two Marlas having approximate value of Rs 1.52 lakh.).
The spokesperson said the action has been taken in accordance with the law as part of the sustained efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Police to dismantle the support structure of terrorism by denying terrorists and their associates the benefits of illegally held assets.
“Such legal measures are aimed at safeguarding public order and reinforcing the rule of law,” he said.
“Jammu and Kashmir Police reiterated its commitment to taking strict legal action against terrorists, their associates, and all those involved in activities prejudicial to the security and integrity of the nation,” the spokesman added.
