Pulwama, Mar 16: Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking, J&K Police has attached four immovable properties worth crores belonging to a notorious drug peddler in connection with FIR No. 41/2020 under sections 8/15 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Pulwama.

The attached properties include a double-storeyed residential house, a shopping complex, a washing centre and another commercial structure, constructed on different land parcels at Rakh Lajoora (Kunjipora), Pulwama, belonging to Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat son of Gh Rasool Bhat resident of Rakh Lajoora, Pulwama. The attachment has been carried out under the provisions of Section 68-F(1) of the NDPS Act, 1985. These properties have been identified as illegally acquired assets generated through proceeds of drug trafficking.
J&K Police reiterates its commitment to continue strict action against drug peddlers and dismantle the financial networks linked with narcotics trade.
