
Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed Police J&K, along with Ms. Sarah Rizvi, IPS, DIG, IRP Jammu, today felicitated Players of the J&K Police Central Water Sports Team for their exceptional achievements at various National level Championships.
The event was attended by the players who have recently won multiple medals for their remarkable performances.
In his address, ADGP Armed Police Shri. Anand Jain welcomed the participants and congratulated them for their outstanding performances at the National-level Championships.
He highlighted the team’s recent achievement of winning 01 Silver, and 04 Bronze medals at the 24th All India Police Water Sports Championship-2025 held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 17th – 21st February 2025.
Appreciating the dedication of the J&K Police Central Water Sports team, the ADGP assured the players that all the necessary resources and equipment would be provided to help further enhance their performances in the upcoming events. ADGP Armed also acknowledged the vital role played by the supervisory officers and coaches in nurturing and refining the talents of the players, emphasising their hard work and commitment to the success of the team.
In conclusion, Shri. Anand Jain expressed his confidence that the team would continue to bring honour to Jammu & Kashmir Police with their future achievements. He reaffirmed that the department would provide all the necessary facilities and support to ensure the team’s continued excellence in water sports.
