Police concludes cricket tournament in BLA

Baramulla, April 28: In continuation of its sustained efforts to promote youth engagement and a drug-free society, Police in Baramulla successfully concluded the grand finale of the Girls Cricket Tournament at Showket Ali Stadium under the Civic Action Programme and the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

The final match was played between Kashmir Knights and Royal Stars, witnessing high enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Kashmir Knights emerged victorious in the thrilling finale, which drew a large gathering of spectators.
The event was graced by the Worthy SSP Baramulla as the Chief Guest, who encouraged both teams and felicitated the players with cash prizes and trophies. Addressing the gathering, he appreciated the players for their commendable performance and emphasised the importance of sports in shaping disciplined and confident youth.

Among others present on the occasion were IC DySP HQ Tariq Ahmad, SHO Baramulla, SHO Sheeri, and IC PP Deina & Old Town Baramulla. and other civil officers.
The tournament served as a strong platform to spread awareness against drug abuse while fostering sportsmanship, confidence, and community engagement among youth.
