Pulwama, August 13: In a bid to promote sports and youth engagement, J&K Police in Pulwama inaugurated a Boys’ Volleyball Tournament at Govt. High School Tahab under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2026-27.

The tournament features eight teams from different parts of the district. The opening match between Star Volleyball Club Pulwama and Volleyball Club Rakh Litter witnessed enthusiastic participation and spirited competition. The inaugural event was attended by Addl. SP Pulwama and DySP DAR, who interacted with the players and encouraged them to pursue sports for discipline, teamwork and overall development.
Police remains committed to promoting sports, youth engagement and stronger police-public relations through meaningful community initiatives under CAP.
