Police organises awareness rally in Baramulla

Baramulla, June 26: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan, J&K Police organises an awareness programme in collaboration with the VTech Group of VTech School, Wagoora, to educate the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and members of the community, who actively joined the campaign against substance abuse. During the programme, participants were sensitized about the adverse social, economic and health consequences of drug addiction and the need for collective action to eradicate the menace from society. As part of the initiative, an awareness rally was conducted from VTech School, Wagoora to Wagoora Main Chowk. The participants raised anti-drug slogans and interacted with members of the public to spread awareness about the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the importance of adopting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Police appreciates the efforts of the organizers, students and local community members for their active participation and support in strengthening the fight against drug abuse. Such awareness initiatives play a vital role in mobilizing society against the menace of narcotics and promoting a safer and healthier future for the youth.
