Anantnag August 18: J&K Police in Anantnag organised a Badminton Tournament at the Indoor Stadium, Government Degree College (GDC) Anantnag, under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), with the objective of promoting sports, fitness and positive engagement among youth.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from badminton players, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talent and competitive spirit in a healthy sporting environment. The inaugural match of the tournament was played between Zahid Ahmad Mir and Ufaid Majeed, in which Zahid Ahmad Mir emerged victorious.
The initiative reflects J&K Police's continued commitment towards youth engagement and promotion of sports as a means of fostering discipline, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation.
