Srinagar, Mar 18: Police in Srinagar seeks the assistance of the general public in identifying a suspect involved in a theft case.

Police Station Shalteng received a written complaint regarding a theft incident that occurred within its jurisdiction. Acting on complaint, a case FIR No. 01/2026 U/S 331(4), 305 BNS has been registered at Police Station Shalteng, and investigation has been initiated.
During the course of investigation, the suspect involved in the commission of the crime was captured in available CCTV footage. Efforts are underway to ascertain the identity of the accused.
In this regard, the general public is requested to come forward with any information that may help in identifying the suspect.
