
The Under-17 Boys Football Tournament organized by the Zonal Physical Education Office (ZPEO) Rainawari concluded today at KNS Playfield, Radapora, Srinagar, with Motherland High School emerging victorious.
In a closely contested final match, Motherland High School edged past Legends School with a 1-0 win in the penalty shootout, claiming the championship title.
ZPEO Rainawari, Muzamil Ahmad Dar, presided over the prize distribution ceremony and presented trophies and medals to both the winning and runner-up teams. The event was attended by the field staff of Zone Rainawari, who played an instrumental role in its successful conduct.
The tournament was held under the banner of the Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Department and aligned with the theme "Drug Free Srinagar," aiming to promote sports as a constructive and healthy lifestyle choice among the youth.
