Rajouri, Oct 21: As part of Police Commemoration Week 2026, District Police Rajouri organised a series of sports events at District Police Lines Rajouri with the objective of promoting physical fitness, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship among participants.

Sandeep Wazir (IPS), DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range* Headquarters Rajouri formally declared the sports events open in the presence of *Sh Naresh Singh (JKPS), SSP Rajouri* along with other police officers and participants.
The initiative forms an integral part of the observance of Police Commemoration Week, which pays tribute to police personnel who made the supreme sacrifices in the line of duty. The sporting activities aimed to encourage a healthy lifestyle, strengthen team spirit and promote the values of discipline, dedication and perseverance among participants.
