His evocative lyrics and haunting melodies painted a vivid picture of a paradise under threat calling for an urgent end to pollution, the eradication of polythene, and a return to sustainable living.
Rayees Wathori is a Theatre and Cultural Activist, an artist whose work bridges Art, culture and social activism. His art is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of Kashmir while giving voice to the pressing issues of today. Through his performances, he carries the spirit, struggles, and dreams of his people to wider audiences, sparking conversations around heritage, environment, and identity.
