
Srinagar, March 23: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted searches at nine locations across Kashmir as part of its ongoing investigation into the November 10 car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort.
An NIA spokesperson said the NIA, which is pursuing various leads in the case RC - 21/2025/NIA/DLI, searched nine locations in the districts of Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara today.
Sources said the NIA conducted a search at the residence of Dr Bilal Naseer Malla, a resident of Rafiabad in Baramulla district, who was arrested in connection with the case. Another search was carried out in the Langate area of Kupwara district.
Raids were also conducted at several other locations in Nowgam area of Srinagar and in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
The NIA spokesperson said several digital devices were seized during the searches and the same have been sent for forensic analysis.
“A total of 11 accused have been arrested till date for their roles in the deadly blast that shook New Delhi on 10th November 2025, killing several persons and injuring many others. The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was also killed in the lethal explosion,” the NIA spokesperson said.
He said NIA found during investigation that Umer had masterminded the blast conspiracy in coordination with arrested co-accused and others.
The agency is continuing with its efforts to unravel the larger conspiracy behind the terror attack and to identify others involved in the plot to spread mayhem and destabilise the country, adds the statement.
