Srinagar, June 28: Residents of Zadibal Khushalsar in Srinagar have sought the establishment of a public library in their area, saying it would greatly benefit students, competitive exam aspirants, and local youth.
The residents said the locality has a large student population but lacks a proper study environment and access to educational resources. They added that a well-equipped library would provide a dedicated space for reading, learning, research, and skill development.
According to them, such a facility would help promote literacy and encourage youth to make productive use of their time while preparing for academic and competitive pursuits.
The residents have appealed for allocation of funds and necessary administrative steps to set up the proposed library, expressing hope for a positive response to their demand.
