Divisional Commissioner Kashmir has directed the DC Budgam to restore the Sheikhpora-Ompora road with immediate effect as the locals of the colony are facing hardships on a day-to-day basis.

Reportedly, the Div Com Kashmir has directed the DC who in return has directed the ACR of the district to restore the road with immediate effect.
The Div Com Kashmir has also directed that all the encroachment in and around the colony must be removed with immediate effect.
The locals of the area have alleged that the land brokers have created havoc by creating a mafia-like atmosphere in the area and are doing everything to keep the administration at bay by not letting them develop the road.
Pertinently, the colony came into being in 1982.
The locals have also appealed to the administration that the road to the colony must be restored immediately.
