Marriage is a pious relationship between two souls ingrained in love, compassion, sincerity & cohesiveness. Our Holy Prophet(PBUH) is role model for us, as far as the married partnership is concerned .We have to irrigate our married life with fundamental ingredients of love, compassion & honesty. No partnership thrives & nourishes without sincerity & honesty. An honest & sincere relationship is guarantee towards unending peace & reconciliation. But unfortunately the contemporary material race for fame & glory has turned this pious relation into corporate enterprise, where trust, love & honesty are buried & slaughtered in broad day light. This is resulting in horrific episodes of domestic violence of alarming proportions. Only a social revolution supported by our religious clergy, intellectuals, writers, academicians & civil society can make a difference.

Firstly everyone should get ready to shoulder the responsibilities of a married life before their marriage. You can't treat married life just like a legal contract in it's objective dimension. We have to ensure sanctity & credibility of our married life through benchmarks of honesty. The most dominant factor responsible for post marital conflicts is lack of sincerity & honesty. You take very casual approach of your married life by cheating your partner in a very shameful & disgraceful manner. This cheating is triggered & acclimatized by entering into extramarital affairs .Every married partner is not involved in it & this can never be generalized. But there is a significant percentage of married people, who are continuously cheating their partners by hook or crook. They over smartly think that they are doing a wonderful thing by slaughtering the basic contours of justice. You can cheat a person every time, but you can never cheat everyone every time. Today or tomorrow, you are going to be exposed before Almighty Allah & our society. Your partner has given you everything but still you are engaging in shameless extramarital affairs. How come you will face your Almighty & Holy Prophet(PBUH) on the day of judgement.
Secondly ,the unending thirst for wealth & fame is devastating families across the length & breadth of our UT. People try to become overnight icons of fame & glory by adopting illegal & unethical approaches. Recently I came across an alarming episode of crime, whereby a wife killed her own husband in order to grab his property & job. But she never thought that she was not killing her husband but landing herself in unending cycle of pain & misery. The dowry related violence has already attained alarming dimensions. People don't want happy married life but a basket full of material wealth & fame. This is also one of the credible reasons, why people cheat their partners after getting married .Extramarital affairs are not the sole reasons of a shameless society, but the chronic thirst for fame & glory is definitely aggrandizing it's manifestations. Now we come across a continuous tide of criminal episodes of Post marital violence particularly suicides. Suicide cases are rising day by day due to post marital related conflicts. On an honest & sincere analysis of all these episodes, the common reason is ingrained in cheating & dishonesty.
Last but not the least, the responsible sections of out society particularly the religious clergy, intellectuals, preachers, writers & academicians can not escape from their responsibilities. They have to rise on the occasion & ignite a revolution of change & hope. They can use their respective domains of influence in order to craft a society based on trust & faith. Special focus should be devoted by our religious preachers to throw light on pious relation of marriage. Writers need to use their power of their pen in order to contribute their share towards noble cause of nation building. I as an aspiring writer have tried my level best in order to give vent to my apprehensions about evolving trends of our society. I do hope that everyone of us will realize the gravity of the situation & initiate their interventions in this regard. Better late than never.
