Jammu, April 28: Romesh Sharma of Jammu & Kashmir delivered an impressive performance at the Sudama Cup Badminton Tournament held from April 25 to 27, winning three silver medals in the 60 age category.

He secured podium finishes in Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, underlining his consistency and competitive edge at the national level.
Sharma, who serves as Treasurer of the Jammu and Kashmir Masters Games Association (JKMGA), has already earned multiple medals in national tournaments. His latest achievement further strengthens his reputation as a dedicated and accomplished veteran player.
President Ranjit Singh Chib, General Secretary Neete Kour, along with other officials and members of JKMGA, congratulated Mr. Sharma for his excellent performance and wished him continued success in future competitions.
His success at the Chandigarh event reflects the growing presence of senior athletes from Jammu & Kashmir in national badminton and continues to inspire others to stay active and competitive in sports.
