The people of Tangdhar and Karnah have been eagerly waiting for the construction of the Sadhna tunnel, which has been delayed for several years. The delay in the project has caused significant inconvenience to the locals who must rely on the treacherous road to travel to other parts of the valley.
The inauguration of five tunnels with a length of 45km by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways during their recent visit has raised the hopes of the people of Karnah and Tangdhar. However, the lack of clarity on the status of the Sadhna tunnel has left them wondering when they will get the crucial infrastructure project that will connect them to the rest of the valley.
It is imperative that the Government of India provides a transparent and clear update on the status of the Sadhna tunnel project and the reasons for the delay. The people of Karnah and Tangdhar deserve to know when they will get this crucial infrastructure project that will significantly improve their connectivity with the rest of the valley.
