New Delhi, July 29: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's use of the words "idiot" and "Andh Bhakt'" during the Lok Sabha debate on the Anti-Paper Leak Bill has triggered sharp reactions across the country. In this context, World Peace Harmony Chairman *Shakeel Saifi* strongly condemned Rahul Gandhi's remarks, calling them a violation of parliamentary decorum and a direct insult to the people of India.
Shakeel Saifi said that using abusive language for the country's citizens from a dignified platform like Parliament is unacceptable under any circumstances. He stated that branding citizens who do not agree with Rahul Gandhi or the Congress ideology as "Andh Bhakt'" is completely against the democratic spirit and amounts to a direct attack on the country's unity.
He further said that such language reflects Rahul Gandhi's perception of the people of India as nothing more than politically divided groups. Equating disagreement with blind devotion and portraying dissent as stupidity, he said, hurts the self-respect of millions of Indians.
Shakeel Saifi demanded that Rahul Gandhi issue a public apology and refrain from using such inappropriate language in the future. He also recalled that this was not the first such instance, alleging that Congress leaders have previously used inappropriate language from election platforms against the constitutional office of the Prime Minister. He claimed that Congress leaders have made more than *107 derogatory remarks* against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to Saifi, such language has become part of the Congress party's political culture. However, he said the people of India are discerning and understand that every citizen has the democratic right to choose their own political preference.
Concluding his remarks, Shakeel Saifi said that Rahul Gandhi's conduct exposes his "political bankruptcy," arguing that when he is unable to tolerate dissent, he resorts to targeting the very citizens of the country and insulting them.
