Saifi urges end to wars, calls for global peace

April 10, 2026 | Mohammad Danish

Srinagar, April 9: Shakkil Saifi, Chairman of World Peace Harmony, during his two-day visit to Kashmir, emphasized that war is never a solution to any issue and called for an immediate cessation of conflicts worldwide.

Addressing a gathering of local youth and community leaders, Saifi highlighted the significance of Saudi Arabia as a central point for the Muslim world due to the presence of the Kaaba, the sacred site to which Muslims bow in prayer. He expressed concern over recent troubling events in the region, noting that wrongful and illicit activities in the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad, a revered and pious land, have contributed to unrest and strife.
Saifi warned that such actions not only violate the sanctity of the holy land but also provoke divine displeasure, which he described as a root cause of ongoing conflicts. He urged global leaders and communities to prioritize dialogue, understanding, and peaceful resolutions over violence, stressing that harmony and justice are essential for lasting peace.
The chairman also called upon the people of Kashmir to serve as ambassadors of peace, promoting unity and reconciliation, while reiterating that respecting sacred values and ethical conduct is vital to prevent further turmoil and suffering in the world
