Tragedy struck the Mir and Mattoo families as Sajid Manzoor Mir, son of the late Manzoor Ahmad Mir of Lasjan, breathed his last on February 7th at AIIMS Delhi. At just 37 years old, Sajid's untimely demise has left a profound void in both the business and political circles of Kashmir.

A man of impeccable moral character and a devout philanthropist, Sajid Mir was widely respected and admired within his community. His sudden departure has cast a pall of gloom over the entire locality, as well as among his peers in the business fraternity.
His funeral saw a massive outpouring of grief, with mourners from all walks of life coming together to pay their respects. Fond memories and heartfelt condolences continue to flood in from across the region, a testament to the impact Sajid had on those around him.
As the community mourns his loss, plans are underway for a fourth-day Fateh congregation to be held on Monday, February 12th, at 10:30 AM at his ancestral graveyard in Bungam, Lasjan. Following this, a Taziati Majlis for Aisali Sawab will be conducted at his residence, offering friends and family an opportunity to honor his memory.
