Srinagar, Oct 14: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Wednesday revised school timings across Kashmir and the new schedule would come into effect from Thursday.

As per the order, schools falling within Srinagar Municipal limits will function from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
Schools outside Srinagar Municipal limits and in other areas of the Kashmir Province will operate from 10:30 am to 4 pm.
The Director of School Education Kashmir has directed all heads of institutions to ensure strict implementation of the revised schedule, warning against any deviation from the prescribed timings.
The order was issued on a day Kashmir turned colder due to the fresh Western Disturbance that brought rain to the plains and snowfall to higher reaches.
