Shailendra Dashora, a senior officer in the Department of Posts, Government of India, today joined as new Chief Postmaster General, Jammu and Kashmir Circle.

An Indian Postal Service (IPoS) Officer of 1989 batch Shailendra Dashora, was today welcomed by Gaurav Srivastava, Director Postal Services (Headquarters), J&K on his new assignment in the Jammu and Kashmir Circle.
Soon after taking over as Chief PMG J&K Circle, Dashora reviewed the functioning of the Postal Department in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. He expressed confidence that the Department of Posts will continue to work as an arm of the Central Government in implementing various government schemes across Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh besides providing the savings & traditional postal services.
