Shopian police volleyball tournament ends

The Volleyball tournament, organised by Police at Imamsahib Shopian concluded today with a colourful and vibrant closing ceremony. The tournament, which commenced on 25th November 2025, featured seven participating teams.

The final match was played between Super Strikers Shopian and Junior Strikers Nagbal, with Super Strikers Shopian clinching the title after a close 3–2 victory. During the closing ceremony, SSP Shopian distributed cash prizes and trophies to the winners and runners-up, acknowledging their hard work and sportsmanship.
The event was attended by DySP DAR Shopian, DySP PC Imamsahib, SHO PS Imamsahib, along with a large gathering of spectators and sports enthusiasts from across the district and nearby areas. The participants were encouraged and assured that J&K Police remains committed to supporting youth engagement and will continue organising such events in the future.
