
Imphal, Jan 18: The "Right Skill, Bright Future" Skill Development Programme concluded with remarkable success at the Pallel Garrison in Manipur, marking a significant milestone in fostering employability, community development, and empowerment. The programme, organized by the Research and Extension Association for Conservation Horticulture and Agro-forestry Foundation, in collaboration with India Infoline Foundation, Tata Strive, and supported by Assam Rifles under the Spear Corps, was designed to provide local youth with the necessary skills for a brighter future.
The skill development initiative aimed at providing vocational training to the youth of Pallel and surrounding areas, ensuring that they acquire the expertise needed for employment and entrepreneurship. The programme was divided into two batches of 50 trainees each. Participants underwent a comprehensive training curriculum that included both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, equipping them with skills in various fields such as horticulture, agro-forestry, and conservation practices, alongside modules focused on soft skills and job-readiness.
The culmination of the programme brought outstanding results, with both batches achieving remarkable success. The latest batch of trainees achieved 100 percent placement, securing internships and jobs in the agriculture and horticulture sectors, showcasing the effectiveness of the initiative.
