Skit at Srinagar school promotes drug-free lifestyle

The Cultural Unit Srinagar organized a skit today, at New Genius Public School, Nawab Bazar, Srinagar, under the “Nasha Mukt JK Abhiyan”.

The skit was aimed at creating awareness among students and the local community about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, responsible lifestyle.
Through engaging performances, the students depicted real-life situations, highlighting the consequences of substance abuse and the positive impact of making the right choices.
The event was graced by the Cultural Officer, Kashmir, who addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of the school and students in promoting a drug-free lifestyle. He encouraged the youth to take proactive steps in spreading awareness about the ill effects of drugs and to act as responsible role models in their communities.
As part of the program, students and participants also took a pledge to remain free from drugs, reinforcing their commitment to personal well-being and social responsibility.
The event successfully communicated the objectives of the campaign and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in building a healthy and drug-free society.
