One such initiative is the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) conducted by the 1 J&K Battalion NCC, Srinagar, at the NCC Training Academy, Nagrota, from 02 to 11 September 2024. The camp has attracted 468 cadets from across the region.
As part of the camp, 51 cadets are participating in a specialized "Smartphone Filmmaking" course from 05 to 09 September, led by Mr. Amjad Jami, a distinguished director from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Mr. Jami, a visual communication expert with over 35 years of award-winning experience, is guiding the cadets through the nuances of smartphone filmmaking.
