Srinagar, Feb 18: Faz Lul Haseeb, Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), conducted a thorough inspection of the EESL lights godown to check the quality and stock of LED street lights under the Street Lighting Management Programme (SLMP).

Accompanied by senior officials, Haseeb reviewed technical specifications, storage conditions, and inventory records, emphasizing strict adherence to standards for optimal illumination, public safety, and long-term durability.
He directed officials to maintain proper stock registers and monitoring mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability in procurement and installation. The inspection highlights SMC’s commitment to energy-efficient urban infrastructure and improved civic amenities.
