In a spirited celebration of the Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan, Saifi Memorial New Light Public School (SMNLPS), Tangdar, organized a Cross Country Run from Government Degree College (GDC) Tangdar to the school premises.
The event was flagged off by the esteemed Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Tangdar, Mr. Shah Mohammad Rana, who lauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of channeling youth energy into productive and healthy pursuits. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the critical need to create awareness among students about the dangers of drug abuse and to promote alternatives like sports, physical activity, and yoga.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the zone, all of whom ran with zeal and carried messages advocating for a drug-free society.
The Cultural Wing of Zone Tangdar played a pivotal role in the campaign, urging students to engage actively in social and cultural activities. Their message focused on fostering a healthy, responsible, and substance-free lifestyle among the younger generation.
