In the championship bout against Deepak Kumar of Haryana, Sohail delivered a composed and clinical performance, controlling the contest with superior striking accuracy, pressure, movement, and tactical discipline throughout the fight. He secured an emphatic 8-0 victory to claim the gold medal and complete another unbeaten national campaign.
