
Jammu, March 9: A soldier of the Indian Army has gone missing during a river crossing training exercise in the general area of Sundarbani in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Monday.

The missing soldier has been identified as Sepoy Akshit Sharma who went missing at around 12 pm today.
The White Knight Corps wrote on X: “During a river crossing training exercise conducted in the general area of Sundarbani, Sepoy Akshit Sharma was reported missing at around 12 pm today”.
“Extensive search operations are underway with all available resources of the Indian Army and civil agencies being employed to locate the soldier”, the Army said.
