Police in north Kashmir’s Sopore carried out searches at multiple locations on Thursday as part of the probe into FIR No. 10/2024 under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against the banned group Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.

The teams visited the homes of Zaffar Islam (alias Yadullah Peer) of Dangerpora, Lateef Ahmad Kaloo of Hanfia Colony Arampora, and Mohammad Ashraf Malik of Tawheed Bagh. The searches, conducted in the presence of an Executive Magistrate, followed warrants from the Special UAPA Court in Sopore. Investigators examined various materials and electronic devices relevant to the case.
