SP Sopore chairs security review meeting

To assess police operations in the Police District Sopore, SP Sopore Smt. Divya D-IPS chaired a crime and security review meeting today at the Conference Hall of Police Component Sopore. The meeting primarily focused on the status of ongoing investigations, including cases related to ULAP(A), the NDPS Act, and other criminal matters.
During the meeting, SP Sopore stressed upon the importance of improving the investigation and disposal of cases. She directed Supervisory Officers,SHOs and Investigation Officers to adopt effective measures to enhance the quality of investigations. She also emphasized the need for the use of modern techniques and standard operating procedures to achieve better results in the investigative process.
The SHOs were specifically instructed to focus on human intelligence, area domination, and property attachment related to proceeds derived from narcotics and terrorism. Additionally, the safety and security of non-local laborers and employees were highlighted, with a directive to maintain close surveillance to ensure their protection.
The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Sopore, SDPO Sopore, SDPO Rafiabad, DySP SIU, SHOs, and IC PPs of Police District Sopore.
