
Itanagar, Mar 27: Spear Gunners under Spear Corps recently conducted a week-long Exercise Poorvi Garjan in Arunachal Pradesh, showcasing advanced operational capabilities and integration of cutting-edge technologies.
The exercise involved coordinated operations with aviation assets, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (Counter-UAS), and indigenously developed New Generation Equipment, reflecting the Corps’ focus on modern warfare preparedness. Troops practiced rapid deployment, surveillance, and target neutralization, emphasizing precision and efficiency in challenging terrain.
Officials highlighted that the exercise also tested the interoperability of various units and systems, enhancing the Corps’ ability to operate in multi-domain scenarios. Special attention was given to integration of indigenous technologies, reinforcing self-reliance in defense capabilities.
