
Hawai , June 26: The Dao Division under Spear Corps organised a Military–Civil Fusion Conference at Hawai in Anjaw district, bringing together senior military leaders and civil administration officials to enhance coordination and synergy in India’s strategic border areas.
The conference focused on strengthening collaborative efforts for the development of Anjaw district, improving internal security mechanisms, promoting tourism, and building resilient border communities in the remote frontier region of Arunachal Pradesh.
Officials from both the armed forces and civil administration discussed ways to align developmental priorities with security requirements, particularly in sensitive border areas where infrastructure development and civilian connectivity are closely linked with strategic preparedness.
Participants emphasised the importance of joint planning and coordinated action to ensure sustainable regional growth while maintaining robust security arrangements along the border. Special focus was laid on improving connectivity, boosting local livelihood opportunities, and encouraging greater tourist footfall in the region.
The dialogue also highlighted the need for strengthening trust between civil institutions and security forces, ensuring that developmental initiatives reach remote villages and contribute to long-term stability in border districts.
Reaffirming their shared commitment, all stakeholders underscored that effective Military–Civil cooperation is essential for both national security and inclusive development in frontier regions such as Anjaw.
