Dimapur, Sep 29: Spear Corps, in collaboration with the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, has launched a 14-day internship programme in Dimapur for students from Patkai Christian College, St Joseph University and Tetso College.

The initiative is aimed at providing Nagaland’s youth with structured training and practical exposure in areas related to the rapidly evolving digital media landscape.
During the internship, participating students will receive hands-on training in content creation, digital communication and responsible media practices. The programme is designed to combine classroom-based learning with practical experience, enabling students to develop skills relevant to contemporary media and communication platforms.
The collaboration with SRFTI, one of the country’s premier institutions in film and television education, provides participants an opportunity to gain professional exposure and learn from established practices in the media and creative sectors.
The programme also seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by familiarising students with emerging tools, communication methods and professional standards in digital media.
Officials said the initiative reflects efforts to create meaningful opportunities for young people in the region by connecting them with reputed educational and professional institutions.
The internship is expected to strengthen participants’ capabilities in media production and digital communication while broadening their understanding of responsible and ethical content creation.
