SpearGunners motivate youth in Lakhimpur

February 26, 2026 | BK News Service

Lakhimpur, Feb 25: Under the banner of the ‘Rashtriya Kritagyata Evam Jagrukta Abhiyan,’ SpearGunners from the Spear Corps conducted a series of motivational lectures across schools and colleges in Lakhimpur district, aiming to inspire students and young adults to pursue disciplined and meaningful careers, particularly in the Armed Forces.

The initiative included interactive sessions at Kalakata Higher Secondary School in Charaideo, where students engaged with Agniveers who shared first-hand experiences of military life, highlighting opportunities for personal growth, professional development, and national service. The programme also focused on defence awareness, providing insights into the structure, roles, and responsibilities of the Armed Forces, while emphasizing the importance of physical fitness, resilience, and leadership qualities.
Beyond motivational talks, the event featured an outreach component where SpearGunners educated students on civic duties, patriotism, and the value of gratitude towards the nation. Attendees were encouraged to consider defence service not just as a career, but as a life-changing journey that instills discipline, teamwork, and a sense of purpose.
School authorities and local officials lauded the initiative, noting that such programmes help bridge the gap between students’ aspirations and practical career pathways, while fostering awareness about national security and public service. Students expressed enthusiasm about the sessions, with many showing interest in future Agniveer recruitment opportunities.
The event reflects the Indian Army’s continued efforts to engage with youth at the grassroots level, motivating them to contribute to nation-building while exploring the Armed Forces as a viable and rewarding career path.
