Chaired by Dr. Mandeep Singh, Director DPE&S, the meeting provided a platform for sports coordinators to exchange insights on current challenges and opportunities in cultivating a vibrant sports culture on campus. Coordinators presented innovative ideas to engage students in various sports activities, improve existing facilities, and enhance the overall experience for sports enthusiasts at the university.
Dr. Mandeep Singh also conveyed that the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nilofer Khan, congratulated Sabiya Nabi on her achievement and assured full financial support to facilitate her smooth participation in the International Alpine Skiing Competition in Kazakhstan.
Discussions during the meeting focused on implementing new initiatives, organizing tournaments and events, providing training opportunities, and upgrading sports facilities to cater to diverse student interests. Coordinators emphasized the need for increased community engagement, collaboration with external sports organizations, and enhanced support for student athletes.
