
Srinagar, Nov 13: The 6th District Srinagar Throwball Championship 2025 concluded here at Hari Nambal Play Field, Natipora, witnessing enthusiastic participation from over 200 students representing various government and private institutions.
The two-day championship was organized by the J&K 7 Side Throwball Association under the aegis of the Throwball Federation of India.
In the results, Oasis Educational Institute, Nowgam clinched the Boys Overall Trophy, while R. P. School, Lawaypora emerged champions in the Girls Category. Scholars School, Natipora secured the second position.
During the event, selection trials were also conducted for the upcoming 46th National Throwball Championship 2025-26, scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chairperson of Scholars School, Natipora, Madam Sadaf, distributed trophies, medals, certificates, and mementos among the winners and participants. In her address, she emphasized the importance of sports for students’ physical fitness and mental well-being.
Sahil Ali Beigh, General Secretary, J&K 7 Side Throwball Association, presented a vote of thanks to all participating teams, guests, and officials for their support and cooperation.
