
According to the information given by Madhya Pradesh Wushu Association Secretary Sarika Gupta, the talented Wushu player of the state Anjul Namdev has been selected for the BRICS Games for the second time and has left for Kazan.
Anjul has represented India three times in Asian Games in Wushu sport of Madhya Pradesh. Sarika Gupta told that Anjul is an international medal winning player and has participated in many international competitions. Anjul has won gold medal in the last BRICS Games. Currently Anjul Namdev is working in the Indian Air Force. Anjul was at fourth position in the last Asiad, but this time he has a chance to win gold medal again in BRICS Games. Anjul will participate in Jianshu and Qiangshu competitions from India in BRICS Games. Anjul has been awarded both Eklavya and Vikram awards by the Madhya Pradesh government. Anjul has been receiving training from Indian Wushu team's coach Sarika Gupta since the age of 6 years. He is also a medal winner in Gujarat National Games and Moscow Wushu Star International Wushu Competition 2023.
