A delegation from the area said the garbage dump near Bagh Mehtab railway bridge attracts a large number of stray dogs. “Stray dogs chase pedestrians posing risk to their lives,” they said.
“Authorities should either install a covered garbage dumper or close the open garbage dump,” said Javid Ahmad , a local.
“In evening, there is darkness on the road and dogs are on prowl. They attack pedestrians who walk close to the garbage dump. These dogs also chase vehicles and scooties and this can result in accidents. We appeal to authorities to address the issue at the earliest,” said another local
